On the first day in the new practice, it is above all the reception, waiting area and treatment rooms that need to work. That is why we set up these areas first. Medical equipment
Many devices in a practice may only be dismantled, connected and tested by the manufacturers or their service partners. This applies, for example, to treatment units in dental practices, X-ray machines and certain diagnostic devices. We take over the transport once the equipment has been properly prepared and coordinate the dates with the service technician. We pack smaller devices such as ultrasound, ECG or laboratory equipment individually and with padding.
Hygiene
Sterile instruments and consumables should remain in their sealed packaging. We transport them in clean, closed containers separately from furniture. Your practice team decides what needs to be reprocessed after the move. Plan time for this before the first patients arrive.
Medication and refrigerated goods
Vaccines and other medication that must be kept refrigerated do not belong in the removal van. They stay in the fridge until a working fridge is ready at the new location and are then transferred by your team in suitable cool boxes. Narcotics are subject to special regulations and are also transported by the practice itself.
Informing patients and health insurers
Your patients need to know when the practice is closed and where to find it afterwards. A notice, a message on the answering machine and a note on the website are usually sufficient.
